Little Big Moments

The title came to us like most things, just in passing. You know those moments that make you stop and think about who you are and where you’re going? Relish in those experiences and decipher what it means to you, your family, your friends and all that surround you. I took the title to heart and really tried to explore all the ways I like to create, and how I’ve grown in each aspect. This LITTLE big Moment was the chance to show myself that I need my tools, my space, my time, my family, my friends, my partner and all those who support somebody else’s LITTLE big Moment.

Boom, exactly what skele said. I think after workshopping names we knew this was the title once we came upon it. It speaks for itself. I said yes to the show eagerly knowing I wanted to show with Skele. Then I realized I don’t know what to paint. I put myself in the studio and got to work. Through that the story then wrote itself. It was like all these little big moments showed themselves to me and spoke to me. Every moment in life is special. No matter how big or how small. Little big moments to me means to be present with yourself, your friends, your family, and your profession. Whatever little big moment it is- be in that moment fully. That’s what this body of works for me represents.
